About

SUPER JUNIOR is a South Korean boy group formed by SM Entertainment, debuting in 2005 with "Twins (Knock Out)." The current profile centers on Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun, with several former members tied to the group's long history.

The group became one of the defining acts of K-pop's second generation. Their early model was unusually large and variety-focused, using music, television, acting, radio, and hosting to make individual members recognizable while keeping the group brand active.

"Sorry, Sorry" became the signature moment that pushed SUPER JUNIOR's reach across Asia, pairing a simple hook with choreography that became instantly recognizable. The group also built a broad subunit system, including SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y., Super Junior-M, SUPER JUNIOR-D&E, and other units that let different members focus on vocals, regional promotion, trot, comedy, or dance-pop.

SUPER JUNIOR's career is also notable for durability. Military enlistments, lineup changes, label restructuring, and long gaps did not erase the group's identity; instead, they became one of the clearest examples of an idol group adapting into a long-running entertainment brand.

The fandom is known as E.L.F. SUPER JUNIOR is a foundational second-generation group whose impact came from music, variety, subunits, and international reach, not only from a single hit or member list.
