TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW: TXT and UNICEF Launch Global Youth Mental Health Campaign

TOMORROW X TOGETHER have partnered with UNICEF on a new global campaign targeting youth mental health, formally launching today in Seoul with a press conference and the premiere of a dedicated campaign film.

The initiative, titled 'TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW', is the product of a formal agreement between BIGHIT MUSIC, the Korean Committee for UNICEF, and UNICEF, signed at the organisation's New York headquarters last October. The campaign centres on building what its organisers describe as a safe, inclusive space for young people to express their emotions and seek support – a mandate that places TXT's global fanbase squarely at the heart of the conversation.

Since their debut in 2019, the group have cultivated a following built in large part on music that engages openly with the emotional turbulence of adolescence and early adulthood. That thematic thread runs directly into this campaign. Mental health as a subject sits closer to TXT's established artistic identity than it might for many K-pop acts, which gives the partnership a degree of coherence that purely transactional celebrity endorsements tend to lack.

An online platform hosted by the Korean Committee for UNICEF is now live, offering visitors access to the campaign film alongside an interactive self-assessment survey designed to prompt reflection on mental wellbeing. In June, the group will extend their involvement through a YouTube activation – 'Hearts Together with TXT: The Listening Room Hearts Together Playlist' – in which members will read stories submitted by fans and offer direct messages of support.

BIGHIT MUSIC and TOMORROW X TOGETHER have donated $1.4 million to the campaign. Funds will go towards global youth mental health programmes, professional training for mental health practitioners, and research and advocacy work.

Speaking at the Seoul press conference, the group's leader SOOBIN said: "I believe we can build a brighter future together through this campaign." YEONJUN and HUENINGKAI addressed the emotional complexity of young people's experiences more directly, stating: "We hope all young people can take the time to reflect on how they're feeling and remember that it's always okay to ask for help whenever they need it." BEOMGYU and TAEHYUN framed the campaign in terms of cultural change: "We hope this campaign paves the way for a meaningful change."

Cho Mijin, Executive Director of the Korean Committee for UNICEF, said the campaign was created to highlight the importance of mental health and encourage greater social support for young people globally, adding that BIGHIT MUSIC and TXT's involvement would offer "a warm embrace and hope to youth worldwide."

The quintet – SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI – have spent the past several years building one of K-pop's more dedicated international fanbases, racking up seven Top 5 entries on the Billboard 200 and becoming the first K-pop act to headline Lollapalooza. The 'TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW' campaign represents a considered extension of that platform. Whether the mental health conversation it hopes to start translates meaningfully beyond the fandom will be the harder test.
