Born on July 5, 1997, in Daejeon, South Korea, she gained prominence as the winner of the first season of K-pop Star, a competition that catapulted her into the limelight. After her victory, Jamie signed with JYP Entertainment, where she formed the vocal duo 15&amp; with Baek Yerin. The duo debuted in 2012 with the single "I Dream," showcasing Jamie's strong vocal prowess. Despite their promising start, 15&amp; eventually went on hiatus, and Jamie pursued a solo career.As a solo artist, Jamie released her debut single "Hopeless Love" in 2015, marking the beginning of her journey as a soloist. Her solo work is characterized by a blend of genres and a focus on self-composed tracks, as seen in her EPs 19 to 20 and Jiminxjamie.
