Baekho’s “Nutty Nutty” photos aren’t actually too nutty

Earlier this month, Produce 101 competitor and NU’EST member Baekho made a comeback with the track “Nutty Nutty” featuring guest artist JESSI. Like every great release, the single was accompanied by a set of concept photos, though they were a bit tamer than the name might have initially suggested. The song has a pounding beat, almost shouted lyrics, and a visual aesthetic straight out of an Abercrombie & Fitch advertisement (meaning lots of abs).

 

The photos however carry a much more subdued energy. There’s still a quiet sexiness and suggestive quality there, but it’s far less aggressive than the track or accompanying video. Honestly, Baekho looks pretty normal in these pictures, leaving a lot of the “Nutty”-ness to the imagination.
