LE SSERAFIM Records First-Week Sales for 4th Mini Album Crazy

LE SSERAFIM has officially wrapped up the first-week sales for their 4th mini-album, Crazy, which was released on August 30. According to sales data, the album recorded a total of 677,600 copies sold in its first week. While impressive, this figure represents a notable decrease of around 300,000 copies compared to their previous album Easy, which concluded with 989,200 first-week sales in February of this year.
Despite the drop, Crazy still showcases the group's strong fanbase and popularity in the K-pop scene. However, the decrease has sparked discussions among Korean netizens, with many attributing it to the shifting trends in the K-pop industry.

Many netizens speculate that the industry is witnessing a "correction" in album sales figures, which saw a significant surge during the COVID pandemic. Now, as the industry adapts post-pandemic, sales seem to be leveling out to more sustainable numbers.
As LE SSERAFIM continues to promote Crazy, the group remains a key player in the K-pop landscape, even amid these market changes.
