The headline highlights our honest review of the Portugal-based dance group Heart Gun’s impressive cover of BTS' youngest member Jung Kook’s hit track, "Standing Next To You." Heart Gun, a K-pop dance group from Lisbon, Portugal, delivers a standout performance set against the enchanting backdrop of European architecture, featuring ash-gray stone buildings and wide, pristine streets that seamlessly blend historical richness with a modern landscape.

Dressed casually in black, the seven-member group takes over a near-empty spot, quickly diving into their choreography as scattered onlookers watch them intently. "Standing Next To You," a fusion of funk-pop and alternative R&B, is sung entirely in English by Jung Kook, whose sleek choreography adds another layer to the song’s charm. Heart Gun’s contemporary style contrasts beautifully with the old-world European architecture, giving their performance an added depth and character.
Julie, one of the group's members, takes on the role of Jung Kook, lip-syncing effortlessly to his smooth vocals. It was refreshing to see a female performer portray a male artist, taking center stage as the protagonist of the dance cover.
K-pop and BTS have clearly transcended cultural boundaries, no longer just a Korean or Asian sensation but a global phenomenon. This is further underscored by the release of Jung Kook’s first solo documentary I Am Still in cinemas worldwide.
