Daily Non-K-pop Spotlight: “a foggy day” by naive24
Por naive24

We’re always excited when we’re legitimately one of the first publications to cover a new Korean indie artist. With only 437 monthly listeners, we’re confident we’re some of the first to cover naive24’s debut album something you forgot.

The opening track to this awesome record, “a foggy day” welcomes listeners into the fuzzy, synth-laden world of groove-rock that naive24 excels in. This is excellent indie rock, complete with breakdowns and drum fills that feel emotive and edgy without losing sight of the sensitive. We’re especially absolutely in love with how the snares are mixed on this song. They really cut through the noise and slap you in the face, even as the reversed guitars and shimmering synths grow to cacophonic proportions.
Don’t wait. Get in with naive24 before they blow up. It’s only a matter of time.
