BLACKPINK’s Lisa Showcases Her Duality In New “The White Lotus” Previews

Previously, it was announced that BLACKPINK’s Lisa would make her acting debut, joining the cast of HBO‘s The White Lotus. The White Lotus originally premiered as a limited series, but due to its popularity, it has expanded and is entering its third season.
On November 10, a first look at Lisa’s anticipated role was given, much to fans’ excitement. Lisa’s character, Mook, appeared to be greeting the hotel guests, and it is assumed she is playing some sort of service industry worker.
Some netizens who viewed the preview spoke negatively about her role, voicing their disapproval of Lisa playing a maid or another resort employee.
Now, another preview for The White Lotus Season 3 has been released, revealing another look at Lisa’s character, proving she’s more than just a “maid.” Lisa appeared in a traditional Thai costume, presumably for dancing.
BLINKs were impressed with Lisa’s duality in her character. In just one role, she’s showcasing her range. Some are also suspicious there’s more than one clip of Lisa in the new trailer. A clip showed someone covered in a hoodie, mask, and glasses.
BLINKs also couldn’t help but compare the clip of Lisa in her traditional Thai costume to a childhood photo of her.
Additionally, still cuts were released, revealing two new images of Lisa. She looks beautiful in every look!
The White Lotus Season 3 premieres on February 16.
