BLACKPINK Becomes Most Followed Female Group on Melon, Achieving a New Milestone

BLACKPINK has added another impressive achievement to their list of records, surpassing Red Velvet to become the most followed female group on Melon, South Korea's largest music platform. The global quartet reached 228,446 followers on Melon, marking this milestone despite being on hiatus.

This latest feat means BLACKPINK now holds the title of the most-followed female group on three of the biggest music platforms: Spotify, YouTube, and Melon. Their widespread influence continues to grow, solidifying their status as a dominant force in the music industry.

On YouTube, the group is on track to become the first musical artist to surpass 100 million subscribers, currently standing at an astounding 94 million. On Spotify, they recently became the first female group to hit 50 million followers, and now with their lead on Melon, BLACKPINK continues to break new ground.

These accomplishments highlight the group's continued global popularity and influence, even during periods of reduced activity, proving their lasting impact on the music world.
