ZICO has returned with a new single, ‘DUET’, linking up with Japanese musician Lilas – best known as ikura, the vocalist of YOASOBI – for a cross-border collaboration that feels confident rather than overstated.

 

The track brings together two artists operating in very different musical lanes. ZICO’s elastic rap delivery sits opposite Lilas’s clear, expressive vocal tone, with ‘DUET’ leaning into contrast rather than smoothing it away.
