TWICE’s Momo Named Fall Ambassador for Matin Kim
by Isabel Miller

Momo of TWICE has been selected as the Fall 2026 ambassador for Korean fashion brand Matin Kim.
On August 20, the brand announced that Momo will be the face of their new Fall 2026 campaign, citing the alignment of Momo’s on-stage charisma and laid-back off-stage appeal with their casual, stylish image.
Images of Momo modelling Matin Kim’s Fall 2026 collection are live now on the brand’s website, with more likely to come following her official appointment as ambassador. The products themselves will be available online and in stores, with a 10% discount available for a short time in celebration of the launch.
Matin Kim specialises in contemporary, trending styles, and their new autumn campaign – ‘PURE PLAY’ – features layered tops, beanies, and vintage-inspired gymwear. By placing Momo at the front of the campaign, Matin Kim states that they aim to create a playful, dynamic atmosphere, using her personality to encapsulate the balance of imagination and reality intended with ‘PURE PLAY.’
The choice also aligns with the brand’s consistent use of K-pop idols to promote their campaigns both domestically and internationally. aespa’s NINGNING was named ambassador for Korea and Japan during the last Fall season, followed by IVE’s Liz in February 2026 and NCT DREAM’s Jeno in March – each for specific seasonal campaigns. For ‘PURE PLAY,’ the brand emphasises a focus on unisex fits, following the clear targeting of all demographics with the variety of idols chosen so far.
It has proven to be a successful strategy: Matin Kim reported a rise of 150% in sales compared to the previous year upon the appointment of Jeno as global ambassador. Part of that success is likely reflected in the brand’s price points; while many K-pop idols partner with high-end brands, Matin Kim falls in the mid-luxury range and is more accessible to fans purchasing to support the artists they follow.
This announcement comes at a particularly high-profile moment for TWICE, who are currently in the process of discussing contract renewals and future activities. Jeongyeon has already announced the termination of her exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment in favour of a solo acting venture with VARO Entertainment, and Chaeyoung has shared plans to further pursue her ‘LIL FANTASY’ project independently. Momo’s activities have not yet been announced, but this solo campaign sparks conversation over the possibility of more involvement in fashion from individual TWICE members.
