New box office data officially declares TWICE’s <THIS IS FOR> World Tour the best-selling tour by a female Asian artist in the United States.
Across a total of 30 shows, held in 17 cities, TWICE sold approximately 459,000 tickets to take the number one sales ranking. Those figures also mean that they have become the second ever female Asian artist to gross over $100 million USD in lifetime ticket sales in the country, joining BLACKPINK. Not only that, but adding the concerts held in Canada, the total for North America becomes 521,584 tickets sold – making <THIS IS FOR> the best-selling tour by a female Asian artist in the continent.
Throughout the North American leg, held from January to April 2026, TWICE performed in the following locations: Vancouver, Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Washington D.C., Belmont Park, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Montreal, Hamilton, Orlando, Charlotte, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Saint Paul, Denver, and Austin. Every single show saw 100 percent of tickets sold.
TWICE have seen touring success in North America in the past, but never on this scale. They toured the U.S. for the first time in 2019, with a total of three shows in the country and venues ranging from a capacity of around 6,000-12,000. Already, the group’s show in Los Angeles was seeing immense interest, with 100 percent of tickets sold. Since then, they’ve returned to the United States on three further world tours, performing at bigger venues on each occasion.
The <THIS IS FOR> World Tour took touring to a new level for TWICE on a global scale. With more opportunities to attend worldwide, especially in locations not previously included in TWICE touring schedules or K-pop touring schedules overall, the numbers of spectators increased dramatically. Now that this new data has been officially reported, TWICE has joined BLACKPINK as the only female groups in history to gross over $200 million USD on a single tour. This includes tours by Western artists, even with many of the dates held in the West.
It reached such heights for a reason; taking place across TWICE’s 10-year anniversary, the tour acts as a commemoration of their achievements over the past decade and the long-standing loyalty of their fans, who rallied to support them worldwide. The true extent of its sentimentality is still gradually being revealed, as the expiry of each TWICE member’s exclusive partnership with JYP Entertainment in 2027 has seen several announce exclusive contracts with different companies for new solo ventures. Additionally, the production of the <THIS IS FOR> World Tour was pioneering within the K-pop industry, and its 360-degree stage design has already been adopted by other artists such as BTS.
Together, these factors have contributed to the high sales of TWICE’s tour and its numerous record-breaking achievements. Alongside data for North America, the tour also saw TWICE’s largest European concert – held in London at the O2 Arena – and a new record set for the best-selling arena tour by a K-pop act in Oceania. In Japan, closer to home, they became the first foreign artist to headline a concert at the Japan National Stadium with 240,000 attendees across three nights.
What is certain is that no matter what the future will look like for TWICE, <THIS IS FOR> stands as a milestone venture in the expansion of the K-pop industry. This data brings confirmation that it will form a key chapter within the group’s legacy as one of the greatest girl groups in K-pop on an international scale.
