During the Spring/Summer 2027 season, Paris became the final – and loudest – proof that K-pop’s fashion influence has moved well beyond the occasional idol sitting front row. BLACKPINK members reunited with houses they have helped define, fourth-generation stars continued building their own luxury relationships, and rookie idols barely out of debut promotions were already receiving invitations from top-tier fashion houses. By the time Louis Vuitton closed Fashion Month on October 6, the K-pop-to-luxury pipeline had transformed into the central plumbing system flowing from designer to runway.

Paris Fashion Week began with two relationships that practically predate K-pop’s current luxury obsession. At Dior, BLACKPINK’s JISOO joined Stray Kids’ HYUNJIN and IVE’s WONYOUNG for Jonathan Anderson’s Spring/Summer 2027 spectacle. For WONYOUNG, it marked her first Dior show; for JISOO, it was another chapter in a storied history book that has learned to cross borders.

Across town, ROSÉ returned to Saint Laurent alongside NCT’s TEN and RIIZE’s ANTON for Anthony Vaccarello’s final bow. ROSÉ has been an ambassador since 2020, and six years later, her black leather, razor-sharp minimalism feels like an automatic extension of the powerful Saint Laurent woman. TEN brought the house’s gender-fluid tailoring into his own orbit, while ANTON represented the next generation of K-pop powerhouses transitioning from rookies to icons.

MONSTA X’s SHOWNU and HYUNGWON took a slightly different route, serving as official ambassadors for Concept Korea and directing attention toward Korean labels BONBOM and ASPARAGUS at Palais de Tokyo. Rather than exporting attention toward European luxury, here it was bringing that attention home. SEVENTEEN’s JEONGHAN resurfaced at Sarah Burton’s Givenchy in dramatic black tailoring, while THE BOYZ’s ERIC attended Yohji Yamamoto and TWICE’s JIHYO bedazzled the FROW at Christian Louboutin.

At Celine, Michael Rider independently crafted a fully-fledged K-pop jam-out. SUZY joined all six members of TWS – SHINYU, DOHOON, YOUNGJAE, HANJIN, JIHOON and KYUNGMIN – at the brand’s edgy Summer 2027 show. TWS attended as brand ambassadors, dressed around a shared black palette that combined sensuality and refined tailoring. The fact that an entire six-member boy group can now occupy one luxury house’s front row says plenty about how valuable the collective reach of K-pop fandom has become.

On Sunday, IVE’s AN YUJIN attended Lacoste before Miu Miu assembled TWICE’s MOMO, i-dle’s MINNIE, TXT’s YEONJUN and XG’s HARVEY under one roof. MOMO’s sensuality, MINNIE’s eccentric femininity, YEONJUN’s willingness to dabble with gendered fashion and HARVEY’s maximalist approach merged comfortably at Miuccia Prada’s Miu Miu. Valentino saw IVE’s REI and LIZ coordinate without matching, carrying the same Rockstud Spike bag in contrasting designs, while WayV’s KUN approached Alessandro Michele’s maximalism through sharper tweed tailoring.

Matthieu Blazy closed the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week with a noticeably young K-pop crowd at Chanel. ILLIT’s WONHEE received her first invitation from the Maison, while CORTIS’s KEONHO continued a relationship that had already taken him to Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show in Seoul. Both are striking examples of how Chanel is tapping into younger idols with recent debuts, showcasing how even the most historic luxury house is noticing the impact of growing K-pop stars.

Louis Vuitton wrapped Paris Fashion Week at the Louvre with floating cars, futuristic scenery and enough K-pop power to populate multiple sold-out arena shows. BLACKPINK’s LISA and Stray Kids’ FELIX sat alongside XG’s MAYA and HINATA and KATSEYE’s DANIELA and YOONCHAE. LISA arrived in a ruffled top and leather skirt that commanded attention, while FELIX was met by his signature screaming crowds – effectively becoming Fashion Week’s unofficial K-pop soundtrack. XG occupies the increasingly blurry territory surrounding K-pop’s global ecosystem, while DANIELA and YOONCHAE brought KATSEYE – a group explicitly designed for the global pop market – into Nicolas Ghesquière’s radar. The guestlist resulted in one front row and several different versions of what K-pop influence means in 2026.

This season made one thing clear: K-pop no longer needs Paris Fashion Week to prove its global influence. JISOO and ROSÉ arrived with years-long relationships behind them, while LISA, FELIX, HYUNJIN and YEONJUN continued building fashion identities beyond their groups. At the same time, WONYOUNG attended her first Dior show, WONHEE received her first Chanel invitation and rookie KEONHO was already entering the same luxury ecosystem.

K-pop is no longer a luxury fashion experiment. It has become part of the industry's infrastructure, connecting houses with a generation of consumers whose relationship with fashion increasingly begins with music. Paris once validated K-pop's fashion power. Now, K-pop helps define every runway inside the world’s largest fashion capital.
