izna Take First Concert Tour ‘WHO DAT GIRL?’ Overseas

by Isabel Miller

On October 9, WAKEONE’s izna are taking their first concert tour overseas to Taipei.

The six-member girl group are set to perform at the Zepp New Taipei as part of the ‘2026-2027 izna Concert Tour: WHO DAT GIRL?’, which is their first concert tour since their debut in 2024.

‘WHO DAT GIRL?’ recently began in Seoul with a two-night stint at the Olympic Hall on September 19 and 20. Across the two concerts, izna hosted 3,760 fans for a near sell-out. This year, they will take the tour abroad to a further five cities in Asia: Taipei in Taiwan, Manila in the Philippines, Hong Kong in China, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. In 2027, the group will also visit Fukuoka, Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in Japan. Each holds a similar capacity to the Seoul shows, setting izna up for solid attendance figures.

Today’s show in Taipei, being the first date scheduled outside of Korea, marks izna’s first international performance as part of a headline concert tour. MAI, BANG JEEMIN, KOKO, RYU SARANG, CHOI JUNGEUN, and JEONG SAEBI have performed internationally at various events, including KCON LA, KCON JAPAN, and Music Bank 2025 in Portugal. Each appearance has proven their appeal and potential for international growth. However, they have never led an overseas concert tour of their own – until now.

The ‘2026-2027 izna Concert Tour: WHO DAT GIRL?’ therefore marks a milestone for the sestet. Its title acknowledges the tour’s significance, taken from the line “Who dat girl is?” from the chorus of the group’s debut title track “IZNA.” Looking back to their origins, izna reinstates the lyric’s message that they aspire to be the center of attention and stand out in the industry. Two years is a relatively long time to wait for a concert tour in the current K-pop climate, so the nod to their debut is a touching gesture and one that will increase fans’ anticipation.

This initial Asia leg was announced in July, following the success of the sold-out fanmeeting ‘izna 1st FANCON <NOT JUST PRETTY>’ in November 2025. Both events in Korea and Japan filled venue capacities similar to that of the upcoming Asia dates, and izna will be hoping to replicate that success. The new venture is already seeing results; Taipei’s concert tonight is sold-out. With each of the events listed here being izna’s first performances in various categories, their sold-out status becomes especially significant, seeing izna embark on a new chapter that promises multiple new achievements.

As the ‘WHO DAT GIRL?’ concert tour continues into next year, alongside the continuation of promotions of the group’s first Japanese mini album HANDLE WITH CARE, izna are set for a busy next few months.
