ENHYPEN

Achieves First No.1 on the Billboard 200

By Isabel Miller

BELIFT LAB’s boy group ENHYPEN has achieved their first number one entry on the Billboard 200 with their eighth mini album THE SIN : BLISS.

According to Luminate, the tracking organisation for Billboard, the album sold 98,000 equivalent units on the chart dated August 30. Approximately 92,000 of those units were in physical album sales, making THE SIN : BLISS the best-selling album in the U.S. last week.

The ranking is ENHYPEN’s highest on the Billboard 200 since the group’s debut. They have racked up six top ten albums in previous years, with ROMANCE : UNTOLD and THE SIN : VANISH landing at number two in 2024 and 2026 respectively, but this recent release is their first number one.

With the achievement, ENHYPEN become the ninth K-pop act to hold the top spot. They join BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids, BLACKPINK, Tomorrow X Together, NewJeans, ATEEZ, and TWICE – all of which are prominent names in the industry. For ENHYPEN to sit alongside these artists demonstrates their popularity in the U.S. and the high likelihood of further success.

Notably, the milestone also comes after the departure of former member Heeseung, who is now promoting as a soloist under the stage name EVAN. His swift and unexpected exit caused fans to question which direction ENHYPEN would take in the future, especially as Heeseung was recognised as the group’s main vocalist and ace. A number one ranking dispels any doubts; it not only cements their consistent placement on the Billboard 200, but takes them to new heights.

THE SIN : BLISS has seen ENHYPEN’s 11th number one on Oricon’s Weekly Album Chart in Japan. Domestically, its title track “Bloody Paradise” has earned the sextet their first “Grand Slam” with wins on all five primary South Korean music shows, and internationally it entered charts in 20 regions. Each area emphasises that the support ENHYPEN is receiving is present worldwide.

ENHYPEN are set to tour Asia and Europe throughout the remainder of 2026 and the first three months of 2027 with their ‘BLOOD SAGA’ World Tour, having recently concluded the Latin American and North American legs. As the tour continues, it will act as confirmation of the group’s prominence in various countries.
