AND2BLE, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, XLOV & More

Read on for our picks of the week.

This week in K-pop, we see former members of ZEROBASEONE and EVNNE re-debut as a brand new group with something to prove, as well as the vogue-filled return of K-pop's first “genderless” group. Aside from those two, co-ed group KARD finally rounds out its members’ solo debuts with rapper J.Seph, while ALPHA DRIVE ONE sets the tone with a hip-hop/R&B atmosphere.

AND2BLE - “Curious”

After splitting from ZEROBASEONE back in March, YH Entertainment’s newest boy group, AND2BLE, has finally made their debut with “Curious.” Considering the group is a reconfiguration of four former ZB1 members and one former EVNNE member, the resulting sound is vastly different from either group. Described as an EDM track that features synth-pop and future house elements, “Curious” is AND2BLE’s declaration to the world that they have arrived and are ready to take over the industry. The drums are anthemic, the vocals have bite, and the aura is electric. If this is how the newly reformed group is coming out of the gate, it's hard to argue they haven't arrived with a statement that's as loud as it is reaffirming.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE - “OMG!”

After debuting in January with their first title track, “Freak Alarm,” eight-member group ALPHA DRIVE ONE has released their latest single, “OMG!” Compared to ALD1’s hard-hitting debut song, “OMG!” already has more of a buoyant and youthful energy, combining energetic hip-hop beats with trendy synthesizer sounds and an R&B bounce in its step. Lyrically, the song compares the unpredictability of life and emotions with the ever-changing weather patterns — regardless of where the wind takes you, don’t let it stop you from enjoying life to the fullest. Listening to a fun, laidback song like “OMG!”, that might not be such a hard thing to do.

XLOV - “SERVE”

Following their viral ‘split’ choreography moment from 2025’s “Rizz,” XLOV has returned in its first comeback of 2026 with “SERVE.” Compared to the group’s previous sounds, rooted in Afrobeats, alternative R&B, and trap-pop, “SERVE” is surprisingly the quartet’s first foray into dance music. Given XLOV’s “genderless” aesthetics, which blurs the lines between femininity and masculinity, it’s a style that’s well-suited to the group’s fluid nature and feather-like vocals. With actress Han Sohee featuring in the music video, “SERVE” is a visual feast of glamor and opulence.

J.Seph of KARD - “EASY”

After nearly 10 years as a member of co-ed group KARD, K-pop rapper J.seph has finally made his solo debut with “EASY.” Carrying over the same moombahton sound that’s become a KARD signature, the track is a vivacious display of J.Seph’s rap prowess, with even a little more emphasis on his vocals than we’d normally hear in his group releases. Although he has the privilege and burden of carrying the song by himself, “EASY” is still very much a family affair, with confident and charismatic lyrics co-written by J.Seph and KARD’s second rapper, BM. As the former touts his ability to captivate an audience, you’re reminded that it really is a walk in the park for someone as seasoned as J.Seph.

UNCHILD - “Energy”

Following their debut with the electronic-pop “UNCHILD,” the six-member girl group has released a surprise music video for its house-based B-side, “ENERGY.” With the bass pulsing in time with the upbeat synth sounds, “ENERGY” provides a complete 180 in tone from UNCHILD and their previous psychedelic-tinged title track. Here, everything sounds much sleeker and sophisticated, despite the members’ cool, carefree attitude, hinting at the various layers the girls still have to uncover. While they only have two tracks out so far, there’s no denying UNCHILD has a certain “It-Factor” that is likely to become even more fascinating with every comeback.
