CLASSy are back. The seven-member group – WON JIMIN, KIM SEONYOU, MYUNG HYUNGSEO, HONG HYEJU, KIM RIWON, PARK BOEUN, and YOON CHAEWON – release their fourth mini-album, RE:BOOT [AFTER TEARS], today, with K-Tigers Entertainment confirming the drop. It is their first record in approximately one year and seven months, following LOVE XX in November 2024.

The comeback arrives alongside a rebrand. The group drops the colon from their previous stylisation, moving from CLASS:y to CLASSy – a deliberate signal of reset rather than cosmetic housekeeping. A new teaser image, shared across official channels, shows all seven members facing the camera with direct, composed expressions.

Behind the record is producer EL CAPITXN, whose credits span Psy, Sunmi, BTS, IU, and PLAVE. K-Tigers Entertainment confirmed the collaboration earlier this year, with the pairing suggesting the group is targeting a more polished, commercially competitive sound than their earlier output.

The album's structure makes a statement of its own. Alongside title track "Tear Drop" and opening track "AFTER THE TEARS" – both produced by EL CAPITXN – RE:BOOT [AFTER TEARS] gives each of the seven members a solo cut, with production handled by a separate collaborator per track. MYUNG HYUNGSEO gets "On My Way" via EL CAPITXN; KIM SEONYOU takes "Pigeon" with Cloud; HONG HYEJU's "Spinning Coin" features XITSUH; KIM RIWON lands GARDEN on "Stay Together"; YOON CHAEWON gets Rocoberry for "Youth"; PARK BOEUN works with Cha Cha Malone on "Intoxicated"; and WON JIMIN closes with "Without You," featuring twlv. The spread is deliberately varied – sonically and stylistically – giving each member a distinct lane rather than a uniform group sound. For listeners encountering CLASSy for the first time, there are seven different ways in.

The label context matters too. K-Tigers Entertainment took over management in November 2025, replacing M25 and framing the move as the beginning of CLASSy's "second chapter." RE:BOOT [AFTER TEARS] is the first full product of that new arrangement – the first chance to see whether the structural changes translate into something that actually lands.

CLASSy debuted in May 2022 through MBC survival programme My Teenage Girl and have spent much of the intervening years navigating label transitions and extended gaps between releases. A group returning under a new name, a new label, and a nine-track album built around individual identity has a lot riding on first impressions. Whether the music earns it is the only question that matters now.
