EXO’s BAEKHYUN Establishes New Agency B.EON Entertainment

by Isabel Miller

BAEKHYUN of EXO has launched his new entertainment company, B.EON Entertainment, in the midst of EXO-CBX’s ongoing contract dispute with INB100.

Reportedly, the company was registered on September 18, 2026, with BAEKHYUN listed as its CEO. BAEKHYUN has since confirmed the news, clarifying the company’s name as B.EON Entertainment.

September 18 falls three days after the Seoul Central District Court granted an injunction requested by BAEKHYUN, CHEN and XIUMIN, collectively known as EXO-CBX, to suspend their exclusive contracts with their agency INB100. The trio first declared their intentions to part ways with the agency in April, citing several reasons including unpaid settlements.

Discussions over the group’s contracts are still underway, but this new company, completely under BAEKHYUN’s control, suggests that he is preparing to return to the industry. While nothing has been explicitly confirmed, due to the nature of this joint injunction and the timing of B.EON Entertainment’s launch, it is expected that all three members of EXO-CBX – possibly together – will also return under the agency beyond BAEKHYUN’s solo projects. Fans should remain assured that BAEKHYUN intends to return in full force despite a halt in activities.

Though EXO-CBX as a unit have not released any music since 2019, the members have released multiple solo mini albums and singles. However, until this injunction was granted last month, none had released any music throughout 2026. Since then, BAEKHYUN has been part of two singles: “Live My Life (feat. Anderson .Paak & Nic D)” by League of Legends group HEARTSTEEL and “Trojan Horse (Prod By THE HUB)” for Street World Fighter : Directors’ War. CHEN and XIUMIN are still yet to make any announcements.

All three of EXO-CBX are established, popular soloists. BAEKHYUN in particular surpassed one million sales with each of the four mini albums Delight, Bambi, Hello, World and Essence of Reverie. They are also beloved members of third-generation giants EXO, though they were absent from the group’s January comeback REVERXE due to a long-term dispute with their original agency SM Entertainment over their activities with INB100.

For now, B.EON Entertainment appears to be laying the groundwork for future activities, with more substantial plans expected in 2027.
