AtHeart Release New Single “3!4!” and Launch Multiplatform Drama
by Isabel Miller

Rookie girl group AtHeart have released a new single, “3!4!”, accompanied by the announcement of a promotional multiplatform drama of the same name.
AtHeart’s entertainment company Titan Contents announced the drama midday on August 18, with a teaser poster and details surrounding its participants. The poster presents three members of AtHeart in clothing reminiscent of the 1990s, three in casual, trendy clothing representative of 2026, and member Nahyun in the centre bridging the two eras. It also features a tagline: “Beyond time, me, you, all of us.”
Both the poster and its tagline indicate that the drama intends to expand upon the “Time Travel Project” currently being undertaken by the group. “3!4!” is the second single of the series, following the release of the first single “Say It” on June 25. While “Say It” was a remake of the 1996 hit “Lovefool” by The Cardigans, the music video for “3!4!” sees Nahyun visiting a reimagined 1990s setting.

This is where the narrative starts. Descriptions of the drama outline the storyline as centred around Nahyun, who discovers a mysterious piece of paper during the filming of “3!4!” that transports her back to 1990. She meets three girls auditioning for a K-pop group, and begins a double-life as a trainee in 1990 and a K-pop idol in 2026.
The drama is written and directed by Nam Taejin, who is best known for K-dramas My Man is Cupid (2023) and Jinx (2021), giving it legitimacy as a genuine series outside of its attachment to AtHeart’s music. It will expand the group’s careers and see the acting debuts of all seven members of AtHeart; Michi, Arin, Katelyn, Bome, Seohyeon, Aurora, and Nahyun will appear in main character roles. Several established artists and actors have also been revealed as part of the project, including former member of Roo’Ra Chae Rina and well-known thriller and crime drama actor Hyun Bonsik.
Releasing a multiplatform drama is a unique and innovative approach to marketing a comeback. 3!4! will draw the attention of fans due to this quality, as it stands out amongst traditional teaser images and post-release performances. As an individual drama project, it will also boost the status of AtHeart to K-drama fans, widening the group’s audience.
AtHeart’s first mini album, Plot Twist, debuted at number 11 on the Circle Album Chart. Since then, the group have released five singles, the most recent being “3!4!” on August 19. Now, they are beginning to establish a stronger conceptual and musical identity, with a focus on nostalgia and the reimagining of the 1990s.
AtHeart’s drama, 3!4!, will be released in September 2026.
