ATEEZ To Release ‘GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6’ in November

by Isabel Miller

KQ Entertainment’s boy group ATEEZ are set to release GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6, the next installation of their “GOLDEN HOUR” mini album series. A trailer, titled “CRASH TO BEGIN,” was shared across ATEEZ’s social media channels to announce the new mini album and its November 13 release date.

Each scene of the trailer is bizarre and destructive, with a pirate ship launching through a television screen, shattering a newsstand, and the glass windows of an office – all of which is witnessed by skeleton occupants. Several of these elements, though, are cohesive; ATEEZ’s signature pirate concept has made a reappearance after several comebacks without it, and one of the skeletons wears the captain armband worn by leader HONGJOONG during every ATEEZ performance.

GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6 extends what is already ATEEZ’s longest series to date. Since their debut, the octet have been packaging each mini album into a separate series that typically contain two to three parts and an epilogue. “GOLDEN HOUR” has doubled that number, and this release marks ATEEZ’s third mini album of 2026. Three mini albums in one year is not unheard of, but it indicates that ATEEZ are intending to swiftly build upon the reception of each, especially with their looming military enlistment period.

This time, that strategy of constant activities will work in the group’s favour. While ATEEZ have been rising steadily in popularity for years – especially internationally – their June title track “BAD” saw virality on a new level for the group, with clips of SAN performing its chest-bumping choreography widely circulating online. It became particularly notorious in Korea, thrusting ATEEZ into the mainstream and making “BAD” the highest-charting song from a 4th-generation boy group on the MelOn Daily Chart. With seven domestic music show wins, “BAD” also surpassed their previous record of six with “Guerrilla” to become their most-awarded song.

As the next part in the “GOLDEN HOUR” series, the comeback acts as a continuation of their ongoing narrative. On the surface, there seems to be a lack of connection to ATEEZ’s previous installment; GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 and its title track “BAD” were primarily built on bright colours, Latin rhythms and desire.

However, it appears that this disconnect is what connects the visuals, as ATEEZ blurs the lines between dreams and reality with so many impossibilities. Every one of their “GOLDEN HOUR” releases has shared that theme, as ATEEZ takes on distinct characters in different settings rather than simply presenting an aesthetic. “WORK” saw them take on various jobs; “Ice On My Teeth” a mafia-inspired dynamic; “BAD” turned them into competitors for the love of a woman played by Chase Infiniti. Though only one trailer has been shared so far, this comeback has already been positioned to follow a similar, narrative-driven style.

ATEEZ’s GOLDEN HOUR : Part.6 will be available on November 13, 2026, with the pre-save link already live now.
