AND2BLE

Signs with Sony Japan and Prepares for Entry into Japanese Market

By Isabel Miller

YH Entertainment has announced that boy group AND2BLE have signed with Epic Records Japan, a record label under Sony Music Labels.

The signing was announced today, 26 June, and suggests that the five members of AND2BLE are gearing up for their Japanese debut – though no announcements of new music have been shared at this stage.

AND2BLE debuted on 26 May 2026 with the mini album Sequence 01: Curiosity, led by title track “Curious.” It sold over 730,000 copies within the first week of its release according to Korea’s Hanteo chart, which lands the album as the fourth best-selling debut of any K-pop group in history.

Sequence 01: Curiosity sold especially well in Japan. The album ranked number 2 on Tower Records Japan’s weekly album chart and on Billboard Japan’s download album chart, displaying positive results for both physical sales and digital streams.

In part, this is the result of previous activities from the members of AND2BLE. Zhang Hao, Yoo Seungeon, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin and Han Yujin have all already established a presence in the Japanese markets, as ex-members of ZEROBASEONE and EVNNE. ZEROBASEONE made their Japanese debut on 20 March 2024 with the single album Yura Yura -Fate no Hana- and EVNNE’s took place several months later with digital single “KESHIKI” on 5 November. AND2BLE’s success in Japan after the reorganisation of the two groups indicates that support for the former members remains strong, and that AND2BLE has the potential to gain further popularity as a new venture beyond previous legacies.

K-pop groups typically debut in Japan 6 to 12 months after their initial Korean debut. AND2BLE is on track to follow this trajectory, but even so, the announcement of the group signing with a Japanese label so early in their careers – exactly one month post-debut – indicates recognition of their immediate success in the country.

Epic Records Japan already oversees the Japanese releases of numerous K-pop groups, particularly those under JYP Entertainment; Stray Kids, NEXZ, and NiziU are all signed under the label at present. Other subsidiaries of Sony Music Labels also oversee groups such as ZEROBASEONE, Kep1er and BABYMONSTER.

AND2BLE’s position amongst these recognised names and so early in their careers as a reorganised group bodes well for their expansion, and fans can look forward to a Japanese release in the coming months.
