Sandara Park, also known as Dara from YG Entertainment’s 2NE1, has announced a new partnership with Singapore-based agency Power Entertainment.

Power Entertainment revealed that they have invested in Park’s self-established label, ARADNAS, with the intention of boosting her popularity across Southeast Asia. This includes plans to hold solo concerts and fan meetings, and to have Park feature in festivals and other promotional events across the region. Many, they emphasise, will be projects exclusively developed for the singer.

Sandara Park saw success throughout Southeast Asia as a member of 2NE1, a 4-member girl group formed in 2009 and deemed one of the leading artists of the early Hallyu wave. Their experimentation gained attention domestically, and by 2012 they were receiving recognition in the U.S. both from media sites like MTV and Billboard and from American artists like Will.i.am. 2NE1 released a single titled “Goodbye” in 2017 and disbanded in 2021, but have since reunited; their fourth world tour, the Welcome Back Tour, began in October 2024 and concluded in April 2025.

Since early 2025, the group has been quiet. However, the establishment of ARADNAS in June 2026 and this new partnership between Park and Power Entertainment suggests that she will return in full as a solo artist, pursuing concert tours, events, and perhaps new solo music. If so, it will be the first time she releases music in three years, since her second mini album Sandara Park in 2023.

“Sandara Park has been widely loved in Southeast Asia since her days with 2NE1,” wrote CEO David Yong in the official statement released by Power Entertainment. “We will continue to support expansion of her activities in the region.”

Park has partnered with Power Entertainment briefly in the past, when Yong invited her to perform at Waterbomb Singapore in 2024. Based on this event, fans can remain hopeful that a permanent partnership will garner physical results.
