JEON SOMI has returned with her second EP, Chaotic & Confused. The title track, “CLOSER,” arrives alongside a music video that matches the song’s sharp energy — shifting between raw chaos and moments of calm, polished elegance.

The single reworks the classic ‘Beautiful Girls’ vibe but filters it through something new: a genre called Stutter House. The result is a mix of sensual moods and bursts of tension that grab you and don’t let go. The production, big and bold, is a clear statement of her growth as an artist.

But Chaotic & Confused isn’t just about one sound; each track explores something different. “Escapade” channels post-punk with a fresh twist, “EXTRA” blends disco and R&B in a sleek way, while the title track itself jumps unpredictably between pop styles. Closing the EP is “DELU,” a deeply emotional R&B ballad. Together, the songs tell a story about dealing with inner struggles and the pressures of being a young artist.

JEON SOMI wrote and composed much of the album, and she also helped shape the visuals and performance direction. Chaotic & Confused is a clear move toward full creative control, showing a more complex side of her artistry as THEBLACKLABEL's flagship artist.

She’s worked with a strong roster of collaborators too — big-name producers and writers like TEDDY, Vince, B.I, and Johan Carlsson all contributed, helping to push the sound forward.

Chaotic & Confused feels honest and raw. It’s about battling personal chaos and finding beauty in that struggle. For JEON SOMI, it’s a clear sign she’s moving beyond her beginnings and carving out a distinct path on her own terms.
