BOL4 channels summery goodness with its latest single “Lips” featuring Giselle of Aespa

BOL4 is a K-pop collective that has always managed to charm its fans with its summery fresh music and lyrics that speak to the youthful mind. The collective started off as a duo Woo Ji Yoon and Ahn Ji Yeong but currently has only one member - Ahn Ji Yeong. Ahn Ji Yeong has carried forward the legacy that the duo started and has also incorporated her uniqueness into the songs since the duo became a solo. 

In its latest comeback, BOL4 collaborated with Giselle of aespa. The song is called “Lips” and presents with a fun romantic vibe to its listeners. The introduction poster of the song features a beach in the background with a light pink heart. Inside the pink heart is a small box that looks like a lipstick’s outer packaging. The poster also tells us that the song was eight years in the making and is now finally out to greet the world. 

In the concept photos, we see Ahn Ji Yeong dressed in white or beige clothes with a splash of pink or red present somewhere to signify the youthful joy of romance and all the cuteness of a newfound romance. Ji Yeong is dressed casually in photos, exuding a laid-back vibe that is reminiscent of a time spent slowly and indulgently without a lot of worry burdening one’s shoulders. In another set of pictures, we see Ji Yeong dressed in a red and white striped top and beige shorts. She is out in a forested area and is taking support on a small four wheeler transport vehicle. There is a casual sporty vibe to the photos that are true to the BOL4 musical DNA. aespa’s Giselle is missing from the concept photos but we hear her amply in the song.
