Everyone is talking about aespa. Here’s why.

This week was a huge win for aespa as far as publicity is concerned.

For example, on May 26, aespa appeared on Inkigayon on SBS. There, they once again won first place for "Supernova." NewJeans was there, and when aespa began their encore, members of NewJeans began giving them hearts, clapping, bowing, and congratulating them. With all the turmoil NewJeans has been drowning in lately, it was a really wholesome moment. NewJeans is one of the biggest bands in the world. To see them pay respect to one of the newest global sensations is really cool.

Meanwhile, aespa is delighting fans worldwide with a brand new MV. “Armageddon” dropped on May 27, and fans went nuts for how intricate and big-budget the production was. Available in 4K, it’s already been viewed over 8.1 million times.

Meanwhile, aespa’s Winter caught attention when, at a press conference for the Armageddon LP, someone asked if aespa was aware of Min Hee Jin’s KakaoTalk messages with Bang Si Hyuk, where there was mention of “crushing” aespa. While aespa’s reply was very diplomatic, Winter couldn’t hold in her laughter at the sheer ridiculousness of the situation. Fans went nuts.

Not gonna lie, this week made us fall in love with aespa. You could even say the group is “Next Level.”
