One of the most popular ships in the K-pop industry is between labelmates 2NE1's Dara, also known as Sandara Park, and BIGBANG's ace G-Dragon, also known as Kwon Ji Young. The two debuted only a few years apart and are known to be close friends, so much so that fans love the idea of them as a romantic pair, even though neither side has confirmed any romantic relationship between them. The two labelmates recently reunited at 2NE1's star-studded reunion concert in Seoul couple of weeks back, which was attended by the likes of BLACKPINK's Jennie, NewJeans, BABYMONSTER, and many more.

G-Dragon not only attended the concert but also sent a video message for 2NE1 and recorded Dara's performance, sharing it on his social media. This fueled the shipping rumors even further. However, fans were reminded of the time when Dara shut down dating rumors between the pair. Back in 2017, the 2NE1 member appeared on JTBC's As You Say, where MC HaHa directly asked her about her relationship with BIGBANG's G-Dragon.

 

Dara promptly shut down the rumors, stating that she doesn't believe in workplace romance and doesn't date her colleagues. She clarified that G-Dragon is simply a close friend and labelmate. It seems like "Daragon" fans (their ship name) will have to come to terms with both artists' non-committal stance on the ongoing romance rumors.
