Watch the Moment Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman Team Up With Stray Kids

In an amazing turn of events, Ryan Reynolds got his Stray Kids cameo after all! The charismatic actor/American action star and the K-pop phenoms were originally planning to team up for the new Marvel Studios film Deadpool & Wolverine. Stray Kids was supposed to appear in the film, but scheduling conflicts made that a logistical impossibility.

 

But anyone who follows Ryan Reynolds knows that he has a way of getting what he wants through clever, outside the box thinking. The new Stray Kids video for “Chk Chk Boom” – off their new album ATE – opens with a very confused Hugh Jackman in character as Wolverine desperately trying to figure out how to forecast the weather.

 

Ryan Reynolds eventually appears as a local news anchor. The main MV ensues, but is bookended by Reynolds again appearing – this time in costume as Deadpool. Stray Kids is on the local news set, and Reynolds asks to join the group before being rejected. It’s the team up we never knew we needed but we’re so glad we got!
