TIOT goes mellow in latest comeback

One of 2024's newest rookie k-pop boy groups has made a comeback! This group debuted in April 2024 under Redstart Entertainment. It consists of five members: Kim Min-seoung, Kum Jun-hyeon, Hong Keon-hee, Choi Woo-jin and Shin Ye-chan. The group’s name is an acronym for Time Is Our Turn and the acronym is spelled out as T-I-O-T. 

After a successful debut, the group has now comeback with a new digital single titled “그 계절 긴 터널을 지나.” The song name translates to “The Long Season” in English. The mood of the song is mellow yet heartwarming. The members sing about past regrets but those don’t affect them anymore. They are looking forward to a bright future ahead. The song is vibrant like a summer in contrast to the music video that is awash in slow like a winter.

In the concept photos for the single, we see the quintet in different scenes of the music video itself. The frames are awash with a blue-green hue casting a blurry effect on the visuals. The tones also represent a sense of nostalgia, tiredness and a sense of temporary rut in an individual’s life. The members are dressed in modern casual attire of t-shirts, jackets, hoodies and matching sets of pants. They are seen in day-to-day life events and places like a library, a storehouse, an empty street.
