Kim Sejeon: Star All Over

Kim Sejeong is a South Korean singer, actress, and former member of the K-pop girl groups I.O.I and gugudan. Born on August 28, 1996, Sejeong first gained public attention when she competed on the reality survival show Produce 101 in 2016. Her talent, charm, and hardworking nature earned her a spot in the final lineup of I.O.I, a project girl group formed from the top contestants of the show. I.O.I quickly became one of the most popular K-pop groups during their short time together, with hits like “Very Very Very” and “Whatta Man.” Sejeong, known for her vocal strength and bright personality, stood out as one of the group’s most prominent members.

In 2016, she made her solo debut with the single “Flower Way,” a ballad written and produced by Zico. This marked a shift in her sound, blending pop and R&B elements while exploring themes of self-reflection and mental health.
