Kang Seung-yoon, known simply as Seungyoon or Yoon, is a multifaceted South Korean artist whose journey from a reality TV contestant to a successful musician and actor is a testament to his talent and resilience. Born on January 21, 1994, in Busan, South Korea, Kang's early life was marked by hardship. Raised by a single mother after his parents' divorce, he faced financial struggles and social anxiety that led him to drop out of middle school. Despite these challenges, Kang discovered a passion for classical guitar, which became a stepping stone to his future in the entertainment industry.

Kang first gained widespread attention as a contestant on Superstar K2 in 2010, where his raw talent and unique voice earned him fourth place.
