Jimin’s MUSE is a sonic revelation

Jimin's latest solo venture, MUSE, has landed like a sonic revelation, featuring seven fresh tracks that showcase the BTS star's evolution as a musician and artist. Released just this last Friday, July 19, the album sees Jimin delving into daring new territories with collaborations from Loco and Sofia Carson, pushing boundaries and exploring diverse musical styles. This ambitious follow-up to 2023's FACE, which soared to No. 2 on the Billboard 200, underscores Jimin's deep talent.

 

 

 

 

Announced back in June by BigHit Music, MUSE promised to build on the introspective journey Jimin began with FACE. From the outset, Jimin has distinguished himself not just within BTS but also as a trailblazing soloist, notably becoming the first South Korean artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 with "Like Crazy."

 

Even amid his obligations in the South Korean military, Jimin remained prolific, with MUSE being just one facet of his current creative output. Alongside his bandmates (excluding Jin, who completed his service in June), Jimin is preparing to unveil a captivating docu-series titled Are You Sure?!. The series, co-starring Jung Kook, promises an intimate glimpse into their close friendship as they traverse diverse locales across South Korea, the US, and Japan, immersing themselves in various cultures, thrilling adventures, and local cuisines.
