It’s been a month. Time to revisit ASC2NT.

ASC2NT (어센트) is a five-member boy group under NEWWAYS COMPANY. 

 

NEWWAYS COMPANY is a new contender in the K-pop space. Their CEO is a former Interpark Music Plus Management Vice President, and also spent time as a K-pop advisory member of the Seoul Culture and Tourism Association and Warner Music Korea. ASC2NT is the company’s first major group.

 

They made their debut on May 7, 2024 with the single album Expecting Tomorrow. It’s a solid debut, featuring the strong and danceable lead single “LOVE ME DO” in both Korean and English. The ballad “Beautiful girl” is also a worthwhile listen that showcases the vocal prowess of a promising quintet.

 

A month in, the group only has 25,000 streams. So it’s not an international home run quite yet. But if you’re the kind of stan that likes to get in early, this group might be for you. They’re classy. See for yourself in the music video and debut photos below!
