INFINITE - An Infinte K-Pop Powerhouse


Throughout their time in the K-pop industry, INFINITE Have been one thing: consistent. There has never been a time when they weren’t pushing their vision forward in both the Japanese and Korean markets, and nothing proves this more than their intense release schedule over the years.

Formed by Woollim Entertainment, INFINITE debuted on June 9, 2010, with their mini album First Invasion, featuring the hit "Come Back Again." They made their Japanese debut on November 19, 2011, with "BTD (Before the Dawn)," solidifying their international presence. The group's early years were amazingly successful. Their second mini album Evolution was released on January 7, 2011, followed by their single album Inspirit on March 17. Their first full-length album, Over the Top, dropped on July 1, earning them their first music show win with "Be Mine." The repackage, Paradise, came out on September 26, further boosting their popularity.

INFINITE continued building momentum in 2012 with their first concert tour, which included stage performances in Seoul and Tokyo. Their third mini album, Infinitize, released on May 15 and featured the standout track "The Chaser," which Billboard named the top K-pop song of the year. The group's fourth mini album, New Challenge, released in March 2013. The hit track "Man in Love" secured a total of seven music show wins. Their first Japanese studio album, Koi ni Ochiru Toki, followed on June 6.

The group really hit their stride in the next few years. INFINITE’s first world tour, "One Great Step," began on August 9, 2013, spanning multiple continents. They continued to innovate with their second full-length album, Season 2, in 2014 followed by their fifth mini album Reality in 2015, followed by their second world tour and their second Japanese full-length album, For You.

In 2016, INFINITE released the Japanese best-of album Best of Infinite. They quickly followed this up with their third Japanese full-length album, Air. Despite the departure of Hoya in August 2017, the group continued, releasing their third full-length Korean album, Top Seed, on January 8, 2018, and the digital single "Clock" on February 13, 2019.

The departure of several members from Woollim Entertainment began with L in August 2019, followed by Sung Kyu, Dong Woo, and Sung Yeol in 2021, and Sung Jong in January 2022. Woo Hyun was the last to leave in October 2022, but all members remained committed to INFINITE. In 2023, INFINITE launched new official social media accounts and announced a YouTube broadcast to celebrate their 13th anniversary. Leader Sung Kyu established INFINITE Company for their future activities. They made a triumphant return with their seventh mini album, 13egin, in July that same year.
