BIGBANG's ace leader, G-Dragon, has made his much-anticipated comeback with his digital single "POWER" after seven long years. This marks his fourth digital single. Aptly titled "POWER," G-Dragon delivers a power-packed performance with this new release—a hip-hop and rap track featuring hard-hitting lyrics, effortlessly delivered in his signature style.

"POWER" is the kind of track you’ll want to watch and listen to multiple times, as there are numerous hidden easter eggs throughout. From G-Dragon subtly referencing his departure from YG Entertainment after more than a decade with the company, to showcasing a newsroom with "Breaking News" displayed, and even including a nod to the designer glasses he wore during the Nonhyeong police station incident, the music video is full of such references. It’s as if G-Dragon is using "POWER" to quietly respond to his detractors and critics.

One of my favorite lyrics is: "Forcefully criticize. Spread a meme, talk blah blah, shout out. Pump up the power, I’m free, yap yap." These lines are precise and impactful.

The music video itself is stylish, quirky, and thoroughly entertaining in a way that only G-Dragon could pull off. The message is loud and clear: no matter what anyone says, he still has the power.
