Feeldog: The singer and actor with a taste for the arts

Oh Gwang Suk, popularly known as Feeldog is one of those artists who are quite multifaceted in their talent. Feeldog debuted in 2012 as the leader of the K-pop boy group BIGSTAR under Brave Entertainment. After being active with the group for about seven years, until 2019. During this time, he also participated in a singing survival show called The Unit and was a member of another K-pop boy group called UNB from 2018 to 2019. He also holds a degree in fine arts.

During his time as a K-pop idol, he collaborated with EXID LE and Highlight’s Yong Jun Hyung for the song “You Got Some Nerve.” He also took another try at a reality show called Hit the Stage. In 2019, he made his solo debut with the song “Dye The World Positive.”

Feeldog contributed to composition and songwriting of his solo numbers which goes to show the musician’s capabilities that lie beyond just singing and rapping. His music leans to the RnB and dance pop style. The lyrics feel like they are drawn from his own thoughts, processes, and experiences since they deliver such an honest message. “Detox” was his last released solo track which came out in March 2022.

While still an idol, he also took part in some acting pursuits. He has appeared on K-dramas like Jealousy Incarnate, Radiant Office, and Pure Love, to name a few. Currently, he is a part of the dance crew Bank of Two Brothers. In addition to that, he practices painting and art on the side. He usually posts on his social media about his latest painting session and dance sessions with his crew. His paintings are quite abstract and inspired by graffiti styles. It is truly inspiring to see Feeldog practice art on a large scale. Art is what makes a life wonderful, afterall.
