EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun has set a new personal best in album sales with the release of his latest album, Hello, World. On September 6, the global star made his highly-anticipated comeback after three and a half years. According to the Hanteo chart, Baekhyun's 4th mini-album, which features the track "Pineapple Slice," sold an impressive 893,214 copies on its first day of release.
This achievement not only surpasses Baekhyun's own record but also sets a new milestone in the K-pop industry. Hello, World now holds the title of the highest-selling album in first-day sales by a solo artist in 2024. Baekhyun's previous album, Bambi, had sold approximately 760,000 copies on its first day, making this comeback a monumental leap in his career.

With Hello, World already surpassing Bambi's first-week sales in just a single day, Baekhyun's latest release has further cemented his position as one of the most successful solo artists in K-pop history.
As fans celebrate this achievement, anticipation continues to build for what Baekhyun has in store for the rest of his Hello, World promotions.
