EPEX travels to a cosmic winterland in latest concept photos

My first impression of "Hello, My First Love" was that it could be a deleted OST or scene from this year's breakout hit K-drama Lovely Runner (I almost mistook the actress for Kim He Yoon!). Rookie boy group The Wind’s title track, "Hello, My First Love," from their album Hello: My First Love, has a sweet, frisky, and pleasant K-drama OST vibe, taking us back to our school days, to the innocence of youth and first love.
"Hello, My First Love" reminded me of my initial exposure to Korean dramas as a foreigner, with shows like True Beauty and Extraordinary You. The Korean classrooms, uniforms, scenic locations, and simple, pure romance (without unnecessary skinship) all came to mind. The song plays out like a mini K-drama, detailing a young boy’s growing feelings for his female classmate, who is aloof from the rest of the crowd. He sweetly embarks on a romance with her, and after a few minor hiccups, the couple has a tearful reunion. You can’t help but smile at the sight of this.
The lyrics also evoke the feeling of a K-drama OST: "The room of youth in my heart. I open the small door. A season called 'You' stopped forever in here. Blue ocean, rays of sunlight, Hello, my first love." The members’ vocals are outstanding, seamlessly blending with each other and giving the song a wholesome narrative structure that keeps listeners hooked. And as a late millennial, it’s a nostalgic reminder of the good old days of our youth!
