Cherry Bomb Dance Crew performs “Super” by SEVENTEEN

As one of the entries for the inaugural KPOPWORLD “COVER KING” dance competition, Cherry Bomb Dance Crew really wowed us. Having recently won 3rd place in Mongolia's Got Talent, the group took COVER KING by storm. Their rabid fan base spread their performance like wildfire, racking up an impressive 16,000 views in a matter of weeks. 

 

Their video performance of SEVENTEEN’s “Super” was shot at a wonderfully cinematic location in the dead of night, providing mood, atmosphere, and vibe. The video's editing is fast-paced and kinetic, utilizing whip zoom transitions and rapid cuts. The whole thing feels like an actual MV. Many individual performers got a chance to shine, with the choreography highlighting soloists and the camera responding accordingly. 

 

 

In the end, the overall quality of their production, their song choice and dancing, and the rabid support of their fans was enough to win them first place in our inaugural competition. Congratulations, Cherry Bomb Dance Crew!
