BTS's J-Hope Splashes Out $8.6M in Cash for Luxurious Afer Hangang Penthouse

In a major real estate move, BTS's J-Hope has just acquired a lavish penthouse in the prestigious Afer Hangang complex, paying entirely in cash.
According to an exclusive report by Ten Asia on June 20, 2024, J-Hope's new home is a duplex unit in Seobinggo-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, spanning an impressive 898.49 square feet across its upper and lower floors. He was allocated this unit in 2020 and completed the ownership transfer on June 10. The penthouse's sale price is around 12 billion KRW, or approximately 8.6 million USD.

Afer Hangang, designed by acclaimed architect Professor Yoo Hyun Joon of Hongik University, aims to set a new standard of luxury living. The complex boasts 26 exclusive units, ranging from 675.33 to 898.75 square feet, spread from the 5th basement floor to the 10th floor above ground.
