BTS Festa 2024: Top Moments from Jin’s Return

It’s hard to believe that Jin is already back from military service! It seems like just yesterday ARMY was wishing him well and he was saying goodbye with his solo track “The Astronaut.” With Festa 2024 now behind us, let’s look back at what made this return so special and all the big moments that helped fans reconnect with the idol.

 

Solo Performances

 

First off, we already mentioned the beautiful farewell track “The Astronaut,” and Jin treated fans to a performance of both “The Astronaut” and his solo track from Map of the Soul: 7, “Moon” during the fan meetup. Getting to hear him sing for the first time in several years was certainly an emotional highlight for many fans.

 

Emotionally Greeting “ARMYYYYY”

 

As he took the stage, Jin called out to ARMY, and the excitement and emotion in his voice was noticeable. Even though this was just a small moment amidst everything, it still carries some seriously large feelings. Not many people can relate from stepping away from what they love for several years, and one can only imagine what it means seeing so many people waiting and ready to support you when you come back. Just the single word tells so much about the idol’s thoughts and feelings about being back.

 

The Return of Eat Jin!

 

2020 was a big BTS year for a lot of reasons, and dedicated fans will know that was the last time we got an episode of Eat Jin!, a mukbang hosted by, you guessed it, Jin. Many ARMYs were waiting to see if the show would ever return, but there wasn’t much indication that it would. Much to everyone’s surprise, the mukbang made a live return during the event. While this doesn’t mean there will be future installments of the series, those who have been with the band through several years surely felt nostalgia and a satisfaction that everything is truly returning to how it once was.

 

“Seven” Dance Trend

 

There were several TikTok trends showcased that night, including one the “Cat on Frozen Han River” audio. However, the biggest one was when Jin showed off the viral choreography of fellow BTS member Junkook’s track “Seven.” Unexpectedly, the moves were nearly flawless, with just enough personalization to remind us why he’s so special. 

 

This is only scratching the surface of the event and all the amazing moments from that night. With special gifts, cheeky skits, and even an expanded “Super Tuna” release, the idol made sure the wait was worth it for dedicated fans. It’s clear Jin is just as excited to be back as ARMYs are, and his presence will undoubtedly be felt through the whole K-pop world in the upcoming months and years.
