Yerin is all shine and sparkles in new "Wavy" music video

Former GFriend member Yerin is back with her third mini-album, Rewrite, featuring the title track "Wavy." This song radiates shine and sparkles, evoking the feeling of stepping into a candy store, mesmerized by the endless choices, unable to decide which treat to pick.

 

"Wavy" is lively, playful, and brimming with K-pop aesthetics reminiscent of GFriend's style, yet Yerin infuses it with her own sweet, pop-like vocals, making it a thoroughly enjoyable track to groove to. The song carries an adorable, uplifting message with charming lyrics like "Free your heart, ride the tidal wave." These lines remind us of the "Quote of the Day" posts we used to share on our Facebook walls over a decade ago, resurfacing now with a wave of nostalgia that colors our present selves. Though we may not relate to that version of ourselves anymore, it serves as a beautiful reminder of a cherished chapter in our past.
