ONF delivers a heartfelt plea for help in their "Bye My Monster" MV

In April this year, ONF unveiled their new mini-album BEAUTIFUL SHADOW, featuring the title track "Bye My Monster," which later became part of their instrumental album INFUSE released on August 2.

 

With "Bye My Monster," ONF delivers a heartfelt plea for help. This pop-dance track infuses classical influences with solid band sounds, sampling the third movement of Rachmaninoff’s “Symphony No. 2.”

Imagine the classic Disney tale Beauty and the Beast, but told from the Beast's perspective in a musical format. In this story, the Beast is cursed, and only Belle's true love can lift the spell and restore him to his human form.

 

Similarly, ONF cautions the other person about getting too close, warning them of the potential consequences. Lyrics like "Trapped within chaos, even as I try to step back" and "The more I desire you, the more I feel like a monster. I don't want to be a monster, cut me off completely," stand out as powerful and emotionally charged moments. The visually stunning music video, coupled with its rich sound, is truly a treat for ONF fans.
