“Sour”
Starting off strong with heavy strumming of electric guitar bass, “Sour” immediately gets the audience’s hearts racing. The piece initially seems to be a classic break-up song, however, upon close inspection of the lyrics, one may realize that “Sour” is directed towards a one-sided love that never was. In a soaring voice, Woosung solemnly sings, “I’ll never know how sweet you taste…you spit me out”, expressing his longing and bitterness towards the lover who treated him so “Sourly”. The song is thrilling and up-tempo, engaging the qualities of a classic rock song. With inventive and sentimental lyrics, “Sour” captivates the listener into the story of a love that never was.
