(G)I-dle stop traffic with a captivating title track

(G)I-dle literally brought the city's traffic to a standstill with their latest comeback, "Klaxon," the lead single from their seventh mini-album, I SWAY. Written, composed, and arranged by the group's leader, Soyeon, "Klaxon" is a fantastic addition to K-pop's vibrant summer playlist for 2024. For those unfamiliar, a klaxon is a loud horn, used metaphorically here to signal the arrival of something new and significant for the five-member group.

 

 

In a scene reminiscent of the song "Another Day of Sun" from the Ryan Gosling-Emma Stone film La La Land, the members find themselves stuck in an endless traffic jam. However, instead of being frustrated, the quintet breaks into a riveting dance, captivating everyone around them. The rhythmic summer romance track explores themes of love and new beginnings, featuring a catchy chorus and witty lyrics.
