FTISLAND is back, and it’s serious

Celebrating their remarkable 17-year journey in the South Korean music industry, FTISLAND, the pioneering multigenerational K-pop band, marked a significant milestone with the release of their 7th full-length album on July 10, 2024. Entitled Serious, This highly anticipated comeback not only broke their year-long hiatus since Sage but also marked their return to a full album format after eight years, following 2016’s Where’s the truth?

 

 

Debuting in 2007 with the iconic "Love Sick," FTISLAND swiftly carved a niche as a trailblazer in the rock band-idol group hybrid genre. Their innovative approach not only captivated audiences but also paved the way for subsequent idol bands like labelmates CN BLUE, DAY6, The Rose, and Xdinary Heroes. In addition to being genre-bending trailblazers, they also influenced the trajectory of K-pop music itself.
