After months of radio silence, fromis_9 has returned to social media, fueling growing speculation about their rumoured five-member comeback.

On April 24, fans were met with a pleasant surprise: the group’s official accounts on platforms like X, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok were quietly reactivated. The move comes just weeks after long-standing rumours began circulating about a potential return this June under the group’s new label, ASND.

The excitement is palpable among flover, the group’s dedicated fanbase, and the timing of this digital resurrection is no coincidence. Last month, ASND confirmed that five of the original members – Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Nagyung, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon – would continue activities under the name fromis_9.

Although ASND responded to reports of a comeback with caution, stating “nothing has yet been decided,” all signs now point toward a reawakening of the group’s next chapter.

The news follows the group’s emotional farewell to PLEDIS Entertainment in November 2024, when it was announced that the members had mutually agreed to end their contracts. A final fan song released in December marked the end of their activities under the label, closing a meaningful seven-year run that saw fromis_9 evolve into one of K-pop’s most beloved girl groups with hits like “Talk & Talk,” “DM,” “Stay This Way,” and “#menow.”

Now, as a five-member unit, fromis_9 appears poised to write a new chapter shaped by experience, resilience, and a clear love for the stage. The social media revival feels like a quiet signal to fans: they’re not done yet. Whether a June comeback materialises or not, today’s update is the first real sign that fromis_9’s story isn’t over.
