aespa dashes at an ‘Unstoppable Speed’ in concept photos for fifth mini-album ‘Whiplash’

SM Entertainment’s girl group aespa has been making headlines with its latest comeback. Right from the concept photos to the final music video, aespa channeled a chic vibe in terms of visuals and music. The group’s concept photos for this comeback had different themes. Earlier, we saw the ‘Unforgettable’ set. Now, let’s take a look at the ‘Unstoppable Speed’ set.

 

Members Winter, Giselle, Ning Ning, and Karina are dressed in stark black outfits once again. Their outfits play heavily on the theme of ‘Unstoppable Speed.’ The outfits are edgy and futuristic. Every member is looking at the camera with a serious expression on their face.

 

Winter is dressed in a black overall dress with matching tights and shiny golden heels. The top of the outfit is full of sequins and a blingy gold body chain adds a touch of glamor to the outfit. She breaks character in the final photos as she smiles and her redhead bob swishes in the air. Ning Ning has a shiny black sleeveless top and shiny blue-black tights. Her hair is long and black, with a sleek middle part. She brings a splash of accessories with chunky nail extensions and the occasional sunglasses as well. The heels she is wearing are again pitch black and seem to mix into the outfit. Karina brings a splash of color. With pink glasses and soft pink glitter earrings, Karina is also wearing matching pink tights with a short black dress. Finally, speaking of Giselle, she is wearing a shiny slate gray outfit with a ruched side. Matching silver nail extensions, glasses and silver tights complete her outfit. 

 

Aespa manages to pull off any concept with ease and these concept photos are just the proof we need. The hazy visual touch to the photos truly accentuates the idea of ‘Unstoppable Speed’ that the members are aiming for.
