ZEROBASEONE deliver a cinematic music video with "Good So Bad"

ZEROBASEONE's fourth EP, titled Cinema Paradise, closely echoes the Italian classic film Cinema Paradiso, a coming-of-age dramedy that features the song "Good So Bad." While both works explore the theme of young love, they do so in very different ways. The album, however, takes a distinct turn from its almost namesake classic, focusing mainly on the complexities of young adolescent love.

While Cinema Paradiso tells the story of a young filmmaker's profound passion for cinema and his bond with the local theater in his hometown, "Good So Bad" focuses on the complexities of young love, exploring themes of romance, longing, and heartbreak

This electronic synth-pop K-pop dance track reflects on lingering feelings for a lover long after the relationship has ended, capturing the bittersweet nostalgia of fond memories. The catchy hook, "Making me feel good wanting it more, you're so bad. How could you let me change it’s so good," encapsulates the sorrow of a relationship's end and the emotional aftermath it brings. The music video features a surprise cameo by actor Yoo Ji Tae, who plays a screenwriter, paralleling his narrative with that of the boys, much like the stories told in films.

True to its title, the "Good So Bad" music video boasts a grand, cinematic quality, showcasing elaborate settings, synchronized choreography, and an upbeat melody, all crafted to feel like a charming mini-film.
