Wonder Girl to Girlboss: HyunA

HyunA, born Kim Hyun-ah, burst onto the K-pop scene as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007. However, due to health issues, she exited the group shortly after and joined Cube Entertainment, where she became a part of the girl group 4Minute in 2009. Her solo career began in 2010 with the release of "Change," marking the start of her signature performance-oriented style. In 2011, HyunA released her first extended play, Bubble Pop!, with its title track becoming a viral sensation. In 2017, she formed the trio Triple H with Pentagon members Hui and E'Dawn. However, a significant turning point came in 2018 when HyunA left Cube Entertainment following public revelations about her relationship with E'Dawn. Signing with Psy's P Nation in 2019, she released the successful single "Flower Shower" and her seventh EP, I'm Not Cool, reinforcing her enduring appeal in the K-pop industry.

Despite facing numerous challenges, including health issues and agency disputes, she has remained a resilient and influential artist.
