Who is Gugudan?

Gugudan (Korean: 구구단) is an all-female K-pop idol group also known as gx9. Their name is further stylized as gu9udan. Formed in 2016 by Jellyfish Entertainment, they made their debut that same year with Act. 1 The Little Mermaid. The group was composed of 9 members: Mimi, Hana, Haebin, Nayoung, Sejeong, Sally, Soyee, Mina, and Hyeyeon. Hyeyeon’s departure in 2018 led to a 2-year hiatus, when the group finally announced they were done in 2020. They are best known for their song “Not That Type.”
